Mission Statement:

I believe everyone has the right to eat good food.
As Salone Gusto of Slow Food states: Good, clean and fair: these three guiding principles represent
a new concept of food quality.

My mission with Garden Organics and Organics Rx is to design organic gardening products which simplify
and demystify gardening and growing for everyone. I want to help educate people in how to grow good, clean, fair, delicious food by designing simple systems and packaging that is asthetically forward thinking.
I will continue to bring to market simple, safe, well designed gardening products that will promote culinary growing and organic replacements to everyday toxic gardening products. My mission is not just for the culinary gardener. The core is to promote and develop organic gardening products that will make it easier to understand gardening as a whole.

I am also encouraging creative alternatives to wasted home space such as converting a portion of our lawn to an edible garden or simply growing in pots. The objective is to keep it simple and to start from the beginning. I hope growing a tomato might intrinsically lead to more support and understanding of local growers, butchers and food artisans. I am not vegan or vegetarian. I am not pushing a specific political perspective. I believe the act of growing food and feeding ourselves with no middle broker is one of the most important forms of social justice that we can take back and reconnect with in our lives today.

I believe growing food is art and magic, and makes us stop and think about time in a different way.
To connect every day to the process of something from start to finish, and experience and taste the cause and effect is undeniably satisfying. I hope it helps us become more aware if we are connected with the seasons and smells of growing and eating something we cultivated ourselves. I hope that it will integrate into our lives and friends and families and tables. And I hope that everyone will in turn, pass it on.
